Mastering flash is a requirement for truly gaining control over lighting and exposure. 90% of photographers are afraid of their flash. Using flash should not be scary. In this hands-on class you'll become one with your flash and learn to take control of your photography. Prerequisite: You must have an external flash unit for your camera in this class. | Introduction to Studio Lighting 1-Saturday, February 25th, 2012, 9:30am - 5:00pm - $145 Open Working in a professional photography studio is a great way to really learn about light and for learning to control it. This is a very hands-on workshop. We'll be shooting portraits and still lifes as our practice. You'll be learning to operate and use high-power studio strobes, flash meters, hot lights and so on. If you've ever wanted to or needed to use a studio, but the costs of creating your own was too high, this class certifies you to rent the studio in the future. The studio we use for this class is one of largest, most complete and wonderful studios in Oregon. Prerequisite: Good understanding photography and command of manual operation of your camera.
